I’ve been doing long distance running and swimming for over 15 years and recently started to participate in triathlons. I have done the traditional weight routine/stretching and decided to try yoga as an alternative. My flexibility and muscle strength has improved. I have participated in several of Trinity Yoga’s classes, including a general all level class and a restorative class. The all level class flowed well and the instructor gave several suggestions for amending the poses for several skill levels. The restorative class was FABULOUS! The instructor’s soothing and gentle voice guided the class through the restorative poses with ease. I almost fell asleep a couple of times. After the class as well as the next day I felt very calm and relaxed. I am looking forward to participating in more classes at Trinity Yoga.

I took my first yoga class recently.  I was amazed at how yoga nurtured my body and mind together to focus myself in a whole new direction.  I anticipate that yoga can enable my physical and spiritual growth.  My teacher helped me by showing the correct way to do the poses, and created a warm and friendly environment in which to practice.  By combining Scripture with centering, concentration, breath work, meditation and gentle poses to create a Christian yoga session, Trinity Yoga is making the practice of yoga available for everyone.  Christian yoga is about more than the body; it is how the body connects with the mind and soul.

My name is Kevin Listen, I am an instructor at Vision Martial Arts Academy and have started taking Mrs. Smiths Yoga classes.  In just a few weeks I could already see improvement in both my flexibility and my state of mind.  The classes are a tremendous stress relief and really help with day to day activities by keeping your body in great physical shape as well as keeping your mind fresh and prepared for the days ahead.  In a job that requires a lot of physical activity it is great to keep the muscles and joints relaxed and stretched to reduce the risk of injury.  Most jobs, and sometimes in life, can come with a lot of stress, Mrs. Smiths yoga exercises promote a healthy mind that I have found to be a great help in reducing stress and promoting a positive outlook on life.  I would definitely recommend Trinity Yoga to anyone looking to improve their well being in life, I know it has been a great help to me.

Erin, Thanks for the newsletters!  I love reading all of your info and I look forward to getting them.  I have enjoyed Yoga class so much.  Having never practiced Yoga before, I was a bit nervous to attend class the first time, but I was instantly at ease.  The class not only has helped me physically with toning and stretching which helps my muscles and bones, but  I believe that it helps me spiritually, ( I really feel His presence while we practice), and I am amazed at how it has helped me focus.  I use the breathing exercises throughout the week when I become stressed, which is helpful and rewarding!  Thank you so much for making the sessions meaningful!  I look forward to each and every class.
